Delete Your Account

You can delete your Meen Msefer account at any time. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete it in the app (fastest)

1. Open Meen Msefer and sign in.
2. Tap the profile icon at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account (الغي حسابي in Arabic).
4. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

If you can no longer open the app

We check that the request really comes from you before deleting anything: we message you on that WhatsApp number and ask you to confirm. The account is deleted only once the confirmation comes from that number, so nobody can delete an account on someone else’s behalf. We delete the account within 30 days of your confirmation, usually much sooner, and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

• Your profile: your name and your WhatsApp number.
• The trips you registered and the trip alerts you asked for.
• Your device notification settings and your reports of other members.
• Your phone number in any invitation that was made for it.

What we keep, and for how long

To keep the invitation network trustworthy, we keep a minimal anonymous record: an internal account identifier, the identifier of the member who invited you, your trust level, whether the account had been suspended, the date of deletion, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your Google or Apple sign-in identity. It contains no name, email address, phone number or trip information. It is deleted after 90 days. If your account had been suspended for violating our Terms of Service, the record is kept for as long as needed to prevent that sign-in identity from rejoining Meen Msefer.

You will find the complete description in our Privacy Policy (see “Data Retention”).
