Meen Msefer (مين مسافر) connects travelers with available luggage space to people who need items transported between destinations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the Platform:

• Account information — your name, provided when you sign in using Google or Apple, and your email address, as provided by your authentication provider.
• Contact information — your WhatsApp/mobile phone number, which allows travelers and senders to communicate directly regarding transportation arrangements, and which we use to send you verification and account messages as described below.
• Travel information — if you register a trip: departure and destination locations, travel dates, flight information you voluntarily provide, and whether you're traveling with hand luggage, checked luggage, or both.
• Shipment information — if you create a transportation request: parcel size and general description, origin and destination, and requested transportation dates.
• Platform usage information — information necessary for the operation, security, and improvement of the Platform, including account activity and user interactions within the application.

Text Messaging (SMS & WhatsApp) Consent

• Message frequency is limited to sign-in and verification attempts — typically one message per attempt.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@meenmsefer.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Send verification codes and confirm your phone number by SMS or WhatsApp.
• Match travelers with senders on compatible routes.
• Facilitate communication between matched users.
• Send operational notifications and service-related updates.
• Notify you when a new trip is registered on a route you are following.
• Improve the functionality, reliability, and security of the Platform.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

What We Share, and With Whom

When a traveler and a sender are matched, each party's name and WhatsApp number may be shared with the other party solely for the purpose of arranging transportation, delivery, and related communication.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with advertisers. We do not rent or commercialize user information to third parties.

We may disclose information:

• When required by law.
• In response to valid legal requests from courts, regulators, governmental authorities, or law enforcement agencies.
• When necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Meen Msefer, its users, or the public.

How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your information is stored in secured systems protected by appropriate access controls and security measures designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Access to personal information is restricted to authorized processes and personnel when required for the operation of the Platform.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Use of the Platform

Meen Msefer is designed to connect users who may be located in different countries. As a result, your information may be accessed, processed, or stored in countries other than your country of residence where permitted by applicable law. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to such international processing and transfers.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform's services, maintain your account, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. • Modify your WhatsApp number.
• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, as described above.
• Delete your account at any time.

When you request account deletion, your personal information and associated account data will be permanently deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

Meen Msefer is not directed toward children and is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information in violation of this policy, we may remove the information and terminate the associated account.

Third-Party Services

The Platform may rely on third-party authentication providers, such as Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In, and on third-party messaging providers to deliver SMS and WhatsApp messages. Your use of those services is subject to the privacy policies and terms of the respective providers. Meen Msefer is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated version will be published within the Platform together with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
